Is Moldova National Wine Day confirmed for 2026?
Yes. The national tourism authority’s agenda and the official Wine Day portal confirm October 3–4, 2026. A Taster’s Booklet is announced, but the main capital agenda and complete sale terms are still pending.
Is the Cricova event the whole national festival?
No. Cricova is one separately ticketed winery program. Do not treat its tour, tasting or price as the admission arrangement for Chișinău’s capital celebration.
Can a non-drinker enjoy the weekend?
The culture, craft, food and performance elements can still be worthwhile, but the final 2026 alcohol-free offer is not published. Confirm it before making the event the center of the trip.
Should I visit Transnistria during the same trip?
Current U.S. advice is Level 2 for Moldova and says to reconsider travel to Transnistria. It also warns of marked unexploded-ordnance risk in some fields, forests and riverbank areas. Keep the event plan in central Chișinău and ordinary government-controlled routes, and never enter marked land.
